We tell your story beginning with the anxious preparations of the bride and her ladies... to the groom and groomsmen lazily puffing away on cigars or cutting up in their suite...to tears shared by the bride and her mother as she places the veil on... The mission for our engagement sessions is to capture who you are. Anyone can give you a picture of what you or your loved ones look like, but we take the time to capture what it is that makes you different from everyone else in the world; what makes you authentic and special. The result: Artful, authentic, and creative images of those you love most. This is accomplished by getting to know our clients and adapting ourselves to mirror the clients wants and needs. About the artist: Michelle Powell Michelle founded Studio Eleven Photography and is the artist behind the camera. It has been Michelle's joy and privilege to photograph weddings all over the world. From small family-only weddings in a country chapel, to stunning location venues, her photos capture the heart and spirit of each wedding day she photographs. Michelle feels equally fortunate to share in the first day of life of more babies than she can count. Even more wonderful is to be invited to capture images of these same babies as they begin to crawl, take their first steps, or show off a missing front tooth. Michelle's photos of babies, tots and families are, simply put: breathtaking. Michelle's passion for photography started around the age of fifteen when she purchased her first camera at a yard sale. Her passion was ignited and, along with her gift of natural artistry, drove Michelle to her dream of making a living by capturing images. Michelle's favorite part of being a photographic artist is that through the filter of the camera lens, the world is a very different place where beauty and uniqueness are easily found in everyday moments.
